Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 17085 Size: MH
  1. Disconnect the linear EGR valve electrical connector.
  2. Remove the linear EGR valve nuts.
  3. Remove the linear EGR valve.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 17085 Size: MH
  1. Install new EGR system gaskets.
  2. Install the linear EGR valve and the two retaining nuts.

    3. Important: During EGR valve installation, ensure the proper alignment of the following gaskets:

       • The EGR piping to the throttle body adapter gasket.
       • The EGR to the throttle body adapter gasket.

    Tighten
    Torque the valve retaining nuts to 30 N·m (22 lb. ft.).

  3. Reconnect the linear EGR valve electrical connector.
