Air Vacuum Bleed Valve AIR Bleed-Off Valve
Removal Procedure
- Raise the vehicle.
- Remove the right inner fender access cover.
- Disconnect the bleed-off valve electrical connector.
- Carefully remove the bleed-off valve vacuum connections.
- Remove the retaining bolt and the bleed-off valve from the pump.
Installation Procedure
Important: When replacing the AIR Bleed-off valve assembly and/or the AIR Pump
Assembly, test the left and right AIR check valves for a stuck open condition.
Failure to inspect the check valves may result in premature failure of the
replacement part. For further information, refer to

.
- Install the bleed-off valve and the retaining bolt.
Tighten:
Torque the bolt to 6 - 8 N·m(70 lb in)
- Carefully install the bleed-off valve vacuum connections.
- Reconnect the bleed-off valve electrical connector.
- Install the right inner fender access cover.
- Lower the vehicle.
Air Vacuum Bleed Valve AIR Inline Check Valve
Removal Procedure
- Raise the vehicle.
- Remove the right inner fender access cover.
- Carefully remove the inline check valve from the vacuum hose connections.
Installation Procedure
- Carefully install the inline check valve in the vacuum hose connections.
- Install the right inner fender access cover.
- Lower the vehicle.
