For 1990-2009 cars only
- Lubricate the lifters with a GM E.O.S. P/N 1052367 (or an equivalent).
- Install the lifters.
- Connect the lifter hold down hoses to the camshaft carrier.
Notice: If lifter clatter is present upon start-up, run the engine at idle-2000 RPM for 15 minutes. This will properly charge the lifters with oil.
