Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the right cylinder head. Refer to Cylinder Head Removal (Right Side) .

    2. Object Number: 57310 Size: SH
  2. Remove the oil pump drive mounting bolt and clamp.
  3. Remove the oil pump drive.
  4. Remove the oil pump drive o-ring.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 57310 Size: SH
  1. Lubricate the oil pump drive o-ring with engine oil.
  2. Install the oil pump drive o-ring.
  3. Lubricate the drive gear with grease.
  4. Install the oil pump drive.
  5. Install the oil pump drive clamp and the mounting bolt.

    6. Tighten
    Tighten the oil pump drive mounting bolt to 36 N·m (27 lb ft).

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  6. Install the right cylinder head. Refer to Cylinder Head Installation .
