Tools Required

1. Engine mounts are the non-adjustable type and seldom require service. Broken or deteriorated mounts should be replaced immediately, because of the added strain placed on other mounts and driveline components.
2. Raise the engine in order to remove weight from the mounts and in order to place a slight tension on the rubber. Observe both mounts while raising the engine.
3. Replace an engine mount if one of the following conditions exist:

•	The hard rubber surface is covered with heat cracks

•	The rubber has separated from the metal plate of the mount

•	The rubber has split through the center

•	There is fluid leaking from any hydraulic mounts
