Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 1996 🢒 Lumina 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 3.4L (VIN X) 🢒 Upper Intake Manifold Installation

    Object Number: 57252 Size: SH
  1. Install the upper intake manifold gasket.
  2. Install the upper intake manifold.
  3. Install the upper intake manifold bolts.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 26 N·m (19 lb ft).

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Install the vacuum hose at the upper intake manifold.
  5. Install the control module mounting bracket.
  6. Install the control module mounting bracket bolts.

    7. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

  7. Install the control module and the coils.
  8. Install the control module and the coil mounting bolts.

    9. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

  9. Install the spark plug wires.

  10. Install the evaporator emission canister purge solenoid harness and brackets.

    11. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  11. Install the fuel injector sight shield.
