Remove the bolts and the side plate from the camshaft timing belt tensioner actuator.
Rotate the camshaft timing belt tensioner actuator from the tensioner pulley socket and out of the mounting base. Removal of the actuator from the tensioner pulley allows it to extend to its maximum travel.
