Camshaft Carrier Removal Left Side


    Object Number: 57268 Size: SH
  1. Remove the rear torque strut mounting bolts.
  2. Remove the rear torque strut.
  3. Remove the camshaft carrier retaining bolts.

    4. Object Number: 57262 Size: SH

    Important: Install the six fuel line hoses under the camshaft and between the lifters in order to hold the lifters in the camshaft carrier. The exhaust uses a 6 in x 3/16 in fuel line hose. The intake uses a 6 in x 5/32 in fuel line hose.

  4. Remove the camshaft carrier.
  5. Remove the camshaft carrier gasket.

  1. Remove the camshaft carrier retaining bolts.

    2. Object Number: 57262 Size: SH
  2. Install six fuel line hoses under the camshaft and between the lifters in order to hold the lifters in the camshaft carrier.

    3. Exhaust uses 6 in X 3/16 in fuel line hose.

    Intake uses 6 in X 5/32 in fuel line hose.

  3. Remove the camshaft carrier.
  4. Remove the camshaft carrier gasket.
