If a weld stud is damaged during a repair procedure, replace the weld stud:

1. Drill a hole into the same location as the damaged weld stud.
2. Drive a screw into the drilled hole.
3. Use a screw in order to retain clips, moldings, and other components.
4. If the surface is damaged, repair and paint as needed in order to provide a smooth surface.
