Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 292669 Size: SH
  1. Using a flat-bladed tool, carefully pry the front edge of the instrument panel (IP) upper trim pad (1) upward slightly in order to release the tabs from the retainers.
  2. Gently release the remaining IP upper trim pad tabs from the retainers.

    3. Object Number: 478938 Size: SH
  3. Remove the daytime running lamp (DRL) sensor. Turn the DRL sensor counterclockwise in order to remove the sensor from the IP upper trim pad.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 478938 Size: SH
  1. Install the daytime running lamp (DRL) sensor. Turn the DRL sensor clockwise in order to install the sensor to the IP upper trim pad .

    2. Object Number: 292669 Size: SH
  2. Tilt the front edge of the instrument panel (IP) upper trim pad (1) upward slightly.
  3. Press the rear IP upper trim pad tabs into the retainers.
  4. Press the remaining IP upper trim pad tabs into the retainers.
