    Notice: When adding fluid or making a complete fluid change, always use the proper power steering fluid. Failure to use the proper fluid will cause hose and seal damage and fluid leaks.

  1. Clean surrounding area before removing power steering reservoir cap.
  2. Remove the power steering reservoir cap.
  3. Check the marks on the fluid level indicator (1,2) integrated with the reservoir cap to determine fluid level.
  4. Ensure the power steering fluid level is atleast to the COLD mark (1) on the fluid level indicator.
  5. If the level is not to the COLD mark (1) on the fluid level indicator, fill the power steering reservoir to the COLD mark (1).
  6. Start the engine and allow the engine to come up to normal operating temperature.
  7. Shut the engine off.
  8. Inspect the power steering fluid level, the level should be between the COLD mark (1) and the HOT mark (2) on the fluid level indicator.
  9. If the level is not between the COLD mark (1) and the HOT mark (2) on the fluid level indicator, add power steering fluid until the level falls between the marks.
