Loose or distorted springs

Replace the components as necessary.

Refer to Steering Column Jacket - Disassemble - Off Vehicle .

A loose switch arm

Tighten the arm to specifications.

Loose switch mounting screws

1. Inspect the following components:

•	The switch installation

•	The mounting screw bosses on the lock housing cover.

2. Replace the components as necessary.

A broken or distorted yoke

Replace the switch necessary.
