Did you perform the HVAC Diagnostic System Check?

Go to Diagnostic System Check

1. Remove the blower motor relay.
2. Place the ignition switch in the RUN position.
3. Place the heater-A/C control in the VENT position.
4. Place the blower switch in the M2 position.
5. Use a test lamp to backprobe between the blower motor relay socket terminal B2 and ground.

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 4

Replace the blower motor relay.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 7

Inspect the CKT 101 (DK BLU) for a poor connection or an open connection.

Is there a fault in CKT 101 (DK BLU)?

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 6

Repair the fault in CKT 101 (DK BLU). Refer to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 7

Replace the blower motor resistor. Refer to Blower Motor Resistor Replacement .

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 7

Verfiy that the system operates properly.
