Inspect the PARK LPS fuse.

Is the fuse open?

Go to Step 2

Go to Step 3

Repair a short to ground in circuit 1340.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Interior Lights Dimming System Check

1. Turn the headlamp switch to the PARK position.
2. Turn the instrument panel lamp dimmer switch to the HIGH position.
3. Using a test lamp, backprobe between the headlamp switch harness connector terminal O and ground.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 4

Repair the poor connection or an open in circuit 1340.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Interior Lights Dimming System Check

Using a test lamp, backprobe between the headlamp switch harness connector terminal H and ground.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

Go to Step 7

Go to Step 6

Replace the headlamp switch. Refer to Headlamp Switch Replacement .

Is the repair complete?

Go to Interior Lights Dimming System Check

Repair the poor connection or an open in circuit 8 between the headlamp switch harness connector terminal H and S203.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Interior Lights Dimming System Check
