1. Turn the headlamp switch to the PARK position.
2. Turn the instrument panel (I/P) lamp dimmer switch to the OFF position.
3. Using a test lamp, backprobe between the instrument panel lamp dimmer switch harness connector terminal G to ground.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

Go to Step 3

Replace the headlamp switch. Refer to Headlamp Switch Replacement .

Is the repair complete?

Go to Interior Lights Dimming System Check

Repair the poor connection or an open in circuit 230 between the headlamp switch harness connector terminal G and S222.
