1. Turn the headlamp switch to the PARK position.
2. Turn the Instrument Panel (I/P) lamp dimmer switch to the OFF position.
3. Using a test lamp, backprobe between the headlamp switch harness connector terminal I and ground.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

Go to Step 3

Go to Step 2

Replace the headlamp switch. Refer to Headlamp Switch Replacement .

Is the repair complete?

Go to Interior Lights Dimming System Check

Repair the poor connection or and open in circuit 308 between the headlamp switch harness connector terminal I and S212.
