Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 478938 Size: SH
  1. Remove the instrument panel (IP) upper trim pad. Refer to Instrument Panel Upper Trim Pad Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  2. Rotate the DRL ambient light sensor counterclockwise to release it from the IP upper trim pad.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the ambient light sensor.

Installation Procedure

  1. Connect the electrical connector to the DRL ambient light sensor.
  2. Install the ambient light sensor to the IP upper trim pad, then rotate the sensor clockwise to secure.
  3. Install the IP upper trim pad. Refer to Instrument Panel Upper Trim Pad Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
