  1. Turn the headlamp switch to the PARK position.
  2. Turn the Instrument Panel (I/P) lamp dimmer switch to the OFF position.
  3. Using a test lamp, backprobe between the inoperable component between circuit 230 to ground.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

Repair the poor connection or an open in circuit 230.
