The hood hinges are bolted to the fender and the hood. Make fore-aft adjustments by elongating the hood-side hinge holes. Make vertical adjustments at the front by adjusting the hood bumpers up or down. Gap tolerances are 5.5 mm to 2.5 mm (0.22 in to 0.10 in). Flush tolerances are -1.5 mm to 1.5 mm (-0.06 in to 0.06 in).

1. Open and support the hood (1).



2. Loosen the hinge to hood bolts.
3. Adjust the hood to fender position.
4. Close the hood.
5. Check the alignment.
6. Open the hood.
7. Adjust the hood as needed.
8. Tighten the hinge to hood bolts (2). Refer to Hood Replacement .



9. Adjust the hood bumpers (1).
10. Close the hood.
