Removal Procedure

    Important: When removing a door trim panel or switch plate, the ignition switch must be in the OFF position. This will eliminate the possibility of shorting out the switch if a flat-bladed tool, awl or metal object is used to remove the switch from the harness.

  1. Remove the inside handle bezel screw.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector.

  3. Object Number: 294812  Size: SH
  4. Remove the window switch from the bezel.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the window switch to the bezel by snapping in to secure.

  2. Object Number: 294812  Size: SH
  3. Connect the electrical connector.
  4. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  5. Install the inside handle bezel screw.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the inside handle bezel screw to 2 N·m (18 lb in).
