I/P PLASTIC SQUEAK NOISE FOAM PADS AT DIC OPENING

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1990 CHEVROLET LUMINA APV

CONDITION:

Plastic to plastic noise (squeak) in Instrument Panel Cluster area.

CAUSE:

Cluster housing contacts lens of cluster gauge.

CORRECTION:

Place four (4) foam pads on edge of (highest surface) of cluster opening. Care must be taken so foam is not visible from passenger side. Cut foam pads from 3M Scotchfoam Black Vinyl Foam Tape #06370 or equivalent. Refer to illustration.
