Transmission Mount Replacement Front Transaxle W/ Bracket

Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to General Vehicle Lifting in General Information.
  2. Support the transaxle with a jackstand.

  3. Object Number: 99287  Size: SH
  4. Remove the bolts attaching the bracket to the transaxle.
  5. Remove the nuts attaching the bracket to the mount.
  6. Remove the bracket.

  7. Object Number: 99192  Size: SH
  8. Remove the nuts attaching the mount to the frame.
  9. Remove the mount.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 99192  Size: SH
  1. Install the mount to the frame.
  2. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts 44 N·m (33 lb ft).

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the bracket to the mount.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 44 N·m (33 lb ft).

  5. Install the bracket to the transaxle.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 55 N·m (41 lb ft).

  7. Remove the jackstand.
  8. Lower the vehicle.

Transmission Mount Replacement Rear Transaxle W/ Bracket

Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to General Vehicle Lifting and Jacking in General Information.
  2. Support the transaxle with the jackstand.

  3. Object Number: 99197  Size: SH
  4. Remove the bolts attaching the bracket to the transaxle.
  5. Remove the nuts attaching the bracket to the mount.
  6. Remove the bracket.

  7. Object Number: 99201  Size: SH
  8. Remove the nuts attaching the mount to the frame.
  9. Remove the mount.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 99201  Size: SH
  1. Install the mount to the frame.
  2. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified.   5. Install the bracket to the transaxle.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 55 N·m (41 lb ft).

  7. Remove the jackstand.
  8. Lower the vehicle.
