Tech 2 Drops Out and Returns to Start Screen During Cranking

When using a Tech 2® to access vehicle data during cranking, the Tech 2® may drop out and go back to the start screen.

As a result, technicians will not be able to access live data or perform snapshots while cranking.

Should this occur, technicians should power up the Tech 2® with the alternative power supply provided in the Tech 2® kit.

To address this situation, vehicle wiring harness circuit modifications will be introduced into production in the above models in late 2007.
