For 1990-2009 cars only
- Clean the valley cover in solvent.
- Dry with compressed air.
- Inspect for restrictions within the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) passages.
- Ensure the valley cover sealing surfaces are free of burrs and traces of old sealant.
