Removal Procedure (Type A)
  1. Remove the I/P upper trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Upper Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Remove the secondary information centre. Refer to Secondary Driver Information Display Replacement .

    3. Object Number: 1955673 Size: SH
  3. Remove the I/P center air outlet deflector to I/P upper trim panel retaining screws (3).
  4. Remove the I/P center air outlet deflector (2) from the I/P upper trim panel (1).

Installation Procedure (Type A)

    Object Number: 1955673 Size: SH
  1. Install the I/P center air outlet deflector (2) to the I/P upper trim panel (1).
  2. Install the I/P center air outlet deflector to I/P upper trim panel retaining screws (3).

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 2 N·m (18 lb  in.)

  3. Install the secondary information centre. Refer to Secondary Driver Information Display Replacement .
  4. Install the I/P upper trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Upper Trim Panel Replacement .

Removal Procedure (Type B)
  1. Remove the I/P upper trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Upper Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Remove the secondary information centre. Refer to Secondary Driver Information Display Replacement .

    3. Object Number: 1955674 Size: SH
  3. Remove the I/P center air outlet deflector to I/P upper trim panel retaining screws (3).
  4. Remove the I/P center air outlet deflector (1) from the I/P upper trim panel (2).

Installation Procedure (Type B)

    Object Number: 1955674 Size: SH
  1. Install the I/P center air outlet deflector (1) to the I/P upper trim panel (2).
  2. Install the I/P center air outlet deflector to I/P upper trim panel retaining screws (3).

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 2 N·m (18 lb  in.)

  3. Install the secondary information centre. Refer to Secondary Driver Information Display Replacement .
  4. Install the I/P upper trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Upper Trim Panel Replacement .

Removal Procedure (Type C)
  1. Remove the I/P upper trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Upper Trim Panel Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 1950931 Size: SH
  2. Remove the I/P center air outlet deflector to I/P upper trim panel retaining screws (3).
  3. Remove the I/P center air outlet deflector (2) from the I/P upper trim panel (1).

Installation Procedure (Type C)

    Object Number: 1950931 Size: SH
  1. Install the I/P center air outlet deflector (2) to the I/P upper trim panel (1).
  2. Install the I/P center air outlet deflector to I/P upper trim panel retaining screws (3).

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 2 N·m (18 lb  in.)

  3. Install the I/P upper trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Upper Trim Panel Replacement .

Removal Procedure (Type D)
  1. Remove the console centre trim plate. Refer to Console Trim Plate Replacement .
  2. Remove the instrument panel centre trim plate. Refer to Instrument Panel Center Trim Panel Replacement .
  3. Remove the infotainment unit. Refer to Radio Replacement .

    4. Object Number: 1955675 Size: SH

    Important: Depress the I/P center air outlet deflector to I/P upper trim pad retaining clips (3) to disengage the I/P center air outlet deflector (1) from the I/P upper trim pad (2).

  4. Disengage the I/P center air outlet deflector to I/P upper trim pad retaining clips (3).
  5. Remove the I/P center air outlet deflector (1) from the I/P upper trim pad (2).

Installation Procedure (Type D)

    Object Number: 1955675 Size: SH

    Important: Make sure the I/P center air outlet deflector to I/P upper trim pad retaining clips (3) are engaged to avoid an induced rattle condition.

  1. Install the I/P center air outlet deflector (1) to the I/P upper trim pad (2).
  2. Install the infotainment unit. Refer to Radio Replacement .
  3. Install the instrument panel centre trim plate. Refer to Instrument Panel Center Trim Panel Replacement .
  4. Install the console centre trim plate. Refer to Console Trim Plate Replacement .
