Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the rear window trim panel assembly. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement.
  2. Remove the rear object alarm module. Refer to Front and Rear Object Alarm Module Replacement.

    3. Object Number: 1958029 Size: SH

    Important: Before removing the rear object alarm, make note of its orientation on the rear object alarm module.

  3. Using a suitable tool carefully pry the rear object alarm (2) from the rear object alarm module (1).
  4. Clean the rear object alarm module of any remaining adhesive.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1958036 Size: SH

    Important: Orientate the rear object alarm in the same position as it was removed.

  1. Remove the protective backing paper (1) from the rear object alarm (2).
  2. Install the rear object alarm (2) to the rear object alarm module (3).
  3. Install the rear object alarm module . Refer to Front and Rear Object Alarm Module Replacement.
  4. Install the rear window trim panel assembly. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement.
