The electronic brake module (EBCM) receives a GMLAN message from the instrument panel cluster (IPC) indicating the the level of vehicle that the EBCM is installed to. This DTC will set if there is a mismatch between the information originally programmed to the EBCM (at the time of original installation) and the RPO data supplied by the IPC.
The ignition is ON.
The EBCM has not undergone the programming procedure.
One or more of the following actions may occur:
• | The EBCM disables the Antilock Brake System (ABS)/Traction Control System (TCS)/Electronic Stability Control (ESP)/Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD) for the duration of the ignition cycle. |
• | The multi function display (MFD) displays the ABS Fault message. |
• | The multi function display (MFD) displays the Traction Ctrl Off message. |
• | The multi function display (MFD) displays the Stability Ctrl Off message. |
A current DTC will clear when the EBCM has undergone the setup procedure.
A newly replaced EBCM will set DTC C0569 on its initial ignition ON cycle.
