Important: Always perform the Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle prior to using this diagnostic procedure.
The instrument panel cluster (IPC) has an initial vehicle system programming error.
• | System voltage is between 9-16 volts. |
• | Ignition switch is in the ON position. |
The IPC is powered up prior to RPO programming.
• | The condition for setting the DTC is no longer present. |
• | The DTC can be cleared using a scan tool. |
The IPC will display a "Program with Scan Tool" message.
⇒ | If DTC B1001 is set as current, attempt to re-calibrate the IPC. |
⇒ | If DTC B1001 is still current. Replace the IPC. |
