The noise may be described as sounding like an exhaust pipe hitting the floor. The noise may also be heard as a rattle when driving over continuous corrugations or undulations.
This condition may be caused by the momentum of the powertrain causing a noise from the hydraulic engine mount(s) when driving over sharp bumps.
