Removal Procedure
  1. Open the liftgate

    2. Object Number: 2048984 Size: SH
  2. Remove the liftgate wedge to body torx retaining bolt (1).
  3. Remove the liftgate wedge (2) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 2048984 Size: SH
  1. Position the liftgate wedge (2) to the vehicle.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the liftgate wedge to body torx retaining bolt (1).

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  3. Close the liftgate.
