Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.

  2. Object Number: 414963  Size: SH
  3. Support the engine with a jackstand and a block of wood.

  4. Object Number: 471740  Size: SH
  5. Remove the mount thrubolt.

  6. Object Number: 471743  Size: SH
  7. Remove the lower mount bracket bolts and the lower mount bracket.

  8. Object Number: 471753  Size: SH
  9. Remove the front transmission mount bolts and the front transmission mount.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  1. Position the front transmission mount and install the bolts.
  2. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 130 N·m (96 lb ft).

  3. Position the lower transmission mount bracket and install the bolts.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 120 N·m (89 lb ft).

  5. Install the transmission mount thrubolt.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the thrubolt to 75 N·m (55 lb ft).

  7. Remove the jackstand and the wood block.
  8. Lower the vehicle.
