Removal Procedure
- Remove the center pillar upper trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Upper Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
- Remove the front seat shoulder belt guide adjuster cover (3).
- Remove the front seat retractor side belt bolt.
- Remove the front seat shoulder belt guide track cover (2).
- Remove the front seat shoulder belt guide track bolts.
- Remove the front seat shoulder belt guide track (1).
Installation Procedure
- Install the front seat shoulder belt guide track (1).
- Install the front seat shoulder belt guide track bolts.
- Install the front seat shoulder belt guide track cover (2).
- Install the front seat retractor side belt bolt.
- Inspect the front seat shoulder belt guide adjuster cover for broken tabs. Replace the cover if the tabs are broken.
- Install the front seat shoulder belt guide adjuster cover (3).
- Install the center pillar upper trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Upper Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
Tighten
Tighten the front seat shoulder belt guide track bolts to 28 N·m
(21 lb ft).
Tighten
Tighten the front seat retractor side belt bolt to 42 N·m
(31 lb ft).
