For 1990-2009 cars only
Removal Procedure
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Remove the splash shield. Refer to Wheelhouse Splash Shield Replacement in Body Front End.
- Pull the 2 release tabs (1) upward in order to release the headlamp assembly (2).
- Disconnect the electrical connectors and the bulb socket from the headlamp assembly.
Caution: Unless directed otherwise, the ignition and start switch must be in the OFF or LOCK position, and all electrical loads must be OFF before servicing any electrical component. Disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent an electrical spark should a tool or equipment come in contact with an exposed electrical terminal. Failure to follow these precautions may result in personal injury and/or damage to the vehicle or its components.
Installation Procedure
- Connect the electrical connectors and the bulb socket to the headlamp assembly.
- Push down on the 2 release tabs in order to install the headlamp assembly (2).
- Install the splash shield. Refer to Wheelhouse Splash Shield Replacement in Body Front End.
- Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Cable in Engine Electrical.
Install the headlamp assembly to the vehicle body.
