1. Disconnect the rear lamp assembly connector.
2. Connect a test lamp between terminal F of the inoperative rear lamp assembly connector and ground.
3. Depress the brake pedal while observing the test lamp.

Does the test lamp light?

1. Connect a test lamp between terminal E and terminal F of the inoperative rear lamp assembly connector.
2. Depress the brake pedal while observing the test lamp.

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step  5

Repair the open in CKT 20 between splice pack S 301 and the inoperative rear lamp assembly. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

Replace the inoperative rear lamp assembly. Refer to Tail/Turn Signal Lamp Replacement .

Is the repair complete?

System OK

Repair the open in CKT 750 (LH) or CKT 850 (RH) between the inoperative rear lamp assembly and ground splice pack. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
