Removal Procedure

    Caution: Unless directed otherwise, the ignition and start switch must be in the OFF or LOCK position, and all electrical loads must be OFF before servicing any electrical component. Disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent an electrical spark should a tool or equipment come in contact with an exposed electrical terminal. Failure to follow these precautions may result in personal injury and/or damage to the vehicle or its components.

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Open the rear compartment lid.

  3. Object Number: 443746  Size: SH
  4. Remove the remote door lock receiver (2). The receiver (2) is located between the rear package shelf and the rear package shelf cover, just to the right of the center access hole. Compress the four tabs and slide the receiver (1) down through the access hole.
  5. Disconnect the electrical connector (1).

Installation Procedure

  1. Connect the electrical connector (1).

  2. Object Number: 443746  Size: SH
  3. Install the receiver (1) through the access hole. Ensure that the mounting tabs are snapped into place.
  4. Close the rear compartment lid.
  5. Connect the negative battery cable.
  6. Reprogram the new receiver to transmitter(s). Refer to Transmitter Synchronization .
