Removal Procedure
  1. Support the door.

    2. Object Number: 276404 Size: SH
  2. Mark the hinge (3,7) location.

    3. Object Number: 276405 Size: SH
  3. Remove the door locating pin bolt.
  4. Remove the door hinge to the hinge pillar bolts.
  5. Remove the door hinge to the door nuts (4,6).
  6. Remove the door hinge.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 276404 Size: SH
  1. Install the door hinge (3,7).

    2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  2. Install the door hinge nuts to the door.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the nut to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

  3. Install the door hinge bolt to the hinge pillar.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

  4. Install the door locating pin bolt (2).

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  5. Adjust the door lock striker after the door hinge adjustments are completed. Refer to Door Striker Replacement .
