Removal Procedure
- Slide the sunshade fully rearward.
- Place the sunroof window into the vent position.
- Remove the sunroof screws (2).
- Remove the sunroof window from the module.
Installation Procedure
- Install the sunroof window to the sunroof module.
- Install the sunroof window screws (2).
- Adjust the sunroof window. Refer to Sunroof Window Height and Opening Fit Adjustment .
- Open and close the sunroof in order to verify the fit of the sunroof window.
Place the information/logo stencil towards the rear of the sunroof opening.
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
Install the center screws first.
Tighten
Tighten the screws to 4 N·m (35 lb in).
