A power sunroof is available as optional equipment. The power sunroof features the following components:

    • A sliding glass panel
    • A manually operated sunshade

The power sunroof is electrically operated from a two position rocker type switch. The rocker type switch is located in the center of the windshield header area. Perform the following procedure in order to put the sunroof into the vent position:

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  2. Press the control switch into the rearward position.
  3. Release the control switch.

Perform the following procedure in order to completely open the sunroof and slide the glass back above the roof panel:

  1. Place the sunroof into the vent position.
  2. Press the control switch into the rearward position.
  3. Release the control switch.

The wind deflector extends above the roof line as the glass slides back.

In order to close the sunroof, hold the control switch in the forward position until the glass closes. This will retract the wind deflector and seal the glass against the roof opening flange. An express module at the front of the modular assembly causes the glass panel to stop in the following positions:

    • Closed
    • Vent
    • Fully open
