Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 280436  Size: SH
  1. Remove the seat back recliner handle.
  2. Remove the seat cushion outer trim panel (5).
  3. Disconnect the seat power switch electrical connector.
  4. Remove the seat power switch (9).

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 280436  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  1. Install the seat power switch (9).
  2. Tighten
    Tighten the seat power switch screws to 1 N·m (9 lb in).

  3. Connect the electrical connector.
  4. Install the seat cushion outer trim panel (5).
  5. Install the seat cushion outer trim panel (5) screws.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the seat cushion outer trim panel (5) screws to 1 N·m (9 lb in).

  7. Install the seat back recliner handle.
  8. Install the seat back recliner handle screws.
  9. Tighten
    Tighten the seat back recliner handle screws to 1 N·m (9 lb in).
