Condition
Some customers may comment on black paint flakes in the carpeting around the front seats.
Cause
This may be caused by paint not adhering to the seat frame.
Correction
Replace lower front seat frame. Refer to lower seat cushion front frame replacement procedure in SI Document ID #892724 for Malibu and SI Document ID #853312 for Alero and Grand Am.
