Removal Procedure
  1. Disable the roof rail SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling in SIR.

    2. Object Number: 1219141 Size: SH
  2. Remove the fastener from the seat belt D-ring and remove the D-ring.

    3. Object Number: 1219144 Size: SH
  3. Remove the adjustable shoulder belt knob.
  4. Starting at the top, remove the garnish molding by pulling forward.

Installation Procedure
  1. Starting at the bottom, install the garnish molding to the vehicle.

    2. Object Number: 1219144 Size: SH
  2. Install the adjustable shoulder belt knob.

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1219141 Size: SH
  3. Position the seat belt D-ring and install the D-ring fastener.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the fastener to 35 N·m (25 lb ft).

  4. Enable the roof rail SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling in SIR.
