Front Fog Lamp Replacement Base

Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .

  2. Object Number: 1326365  Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the front fog lamp assembly.
  4. Twist the bulb about ¼ turn counterclockwise.

  5. Object Number: 1215798  Size: SH
  6. Remove the fog lamp bulb from the lamp housing.

  7. Object Number: 1217685  Size: SH
  8. Remove the nuts mounting the front fog lamp assembly to the lower grille.

  9. Object Number: 1217686  Size: SH
  10. Remove the fog lamp assembly from the lower grille.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the fog lamp assembly to the lower front grille.

  2. Object Number: 1217685  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the front fog lamp mounting nuts.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 2.5 N·m (22 lb in).

  5. Install the fog lamp bulb into the lamp housing.
  6. Twist the bulb about ¼ turn clockwise to lock the bulb into the housing.

  7. Object Number: 1326365  Size: SH
  8. Connect the electrical connector to the fog lamp assembly.
  9. Lower the vehicle.
  10. Inspect the fog lamp alignment. Adjust the alignment if necessary. Refer to Fog Lamp Aiming .
