Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 2006 🢒 Malibu 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 3.5L 🢒 Oil Pump Drive Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the air intake duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement in Engine Controls - 3.5L.

    2. Object Number: 190531 Size: SH
  2. Remove the oil pump drive bolt.
  3. Remove the oil pump drive clamp.
  4. Remove the oil pump drive.
  5. Remove the oil pump drive seal.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 190531 Size: SH
  1. Install the oil pump drive seal. Coat the seal or bore in the engine block with engine oil.
  2. Coat the drive gear on the oil pump drive with prelube. Refer to Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers for the correct part number.
  3. Install the oil pump drive.
  4. Install the oil pump drive clamp.

    5. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  5. Install the oil pump drive bolt.

    6. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 36 N·m (27 lb ft).

  6. Install the air intake duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement in Engine Controls - 3.5L.
