J 45025 Torque Wrench Adapter

Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .

  2. Object Number: 758258  Size: SH
  3. Remove the drive belt tensioner bolt.
  4. Remove the drive belt tensioner.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 758258  Size: SH
  1. Install the drive belt tensioner.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

    Important: In order to obtain the proper torque when using any torque wrench adapter you must use the following formula: Pre-set Torque = Torque Wrench Length x Torque Desired divided by Torque Wrench Length + Extension Length.

  3. Install the drive belt tensioner bolt.
  4. Use a J 45025 to tighten the drive belt tensioner bolt.

    Tighten
    Tighten the drive belt tensioner bolt to 45 N·m (33 lb ft).

  5. Install the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .
