Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the rear bumper fascia. Refer to Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 1219398 Size: SH
  2. For the sedan, remove the screw retainers from the energy absorber.

    3. Object Number: 1331333 Size: SH
  3. For the extended sedan, release the energy absorbers from the rear bumper fascia by pushing outward on the retaining tabs.

    4. Object Number: 1219393 Size: SH
  4. Remove the energy absorber from the rear bumper fascia.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1219393 Size: SH
  1. Position the energy absorber to the rear bumper fascia.

    2. Object Number: 1219398 Size: SH
  2. For the sedan, install the screw retainers to the energy absorber. Hand tighten the retainers.

    3. Object Number: 1331333 Size: SH
  3. For the extended sedan, install the energy absorbers onto the rear bumper fascia retaining tabs. Push down until the energy absorber is fully seated.
  4. Install the rear bumper fascia. Refer to Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement .
