Removal Procedure
- Apply masking tape to the door frame applique.
- Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to
Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement
.
- Remove the rear door water deflector. Refer to
Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement
.
- Lower the window to the full down position.
- Remove the stationary window (1) weatherstrip by grasping the
center and pulling downward to release it from the retainer.
- Remove the stationary window bolt (2).
- Pull the stationary window away from the door.
Some back and forth movement may be needed.
- Remove the stationary window from the door.
Installation Procedure
- Install the stationary window (1)
it the door.
Some back and forth movement may be needed to set the stationary window into
the door.
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners
must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring
replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant
are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or
corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified.
These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage
the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when
installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
- Install the stationary window bolt (2)
Tighten
Tighten the bolt to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
- Install the window outer belt sealing strip. Refer to

.
- Remove the masking tape.
- Inspect the window for proper operation.
- Install the rear door water deflector. Refer to
Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement
.
- Install the rear door trim panel. Refer to
Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement
