Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1283418 Size: SH
  1. Using a flat-bladed tool, remove the overhead console from the console bezel.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  3. Remove the OnStar® microphone.
  4. Remove the universal garage door opener. Refer to Garage Door Opener Replacement in Garage Door Opener.
  5. Remove the sunroof switch, if equipped. Refer to Sunroof Switch Replacement in Roof.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1283418 Size: SH
  1. Install the sunroof switch. Refer to Sunroof Switch Replacement in Roof.
  2. Install the universal garage door opener. Refer to Garage Door Opener Replacement in Garage Door Opener.
  3. Install the OnStar® microphone.
  4. Partially install the overhead console and connect the electrical connectors.
  5. Install the overhead console from the console bezel.
