Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 2006 🢒 Malibu 🢒 Transmission/Transaxle 🢒 Automatic Transaxle - 4T65-E 🢒 Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
  2. Remove the lower radiator air deflector. Refer to Radiator Air Lower Baffle and Deflector Replacement.

    3. Object Number: 1687243 Size: SH
  3. Place a drain pan under the transmission oil cooler pipes.
  4. Remove the transmission oil cooler pipes from the transmission. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection.

    5. Object Number: 1687241 Size: SH
  5. Unclip the transmission oil cooler pipe from the fan shroud.
  6. Remove the transmission oil cooler pipes from the radiator. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection.
  7. Remove the transmission oil cooler pipes from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1687241 Size: SH
  1. Install the transmission oil cooler pipes to the vehicle.
  2. Install the transmission oil cooler pipes to the radiator. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection.
  3. Clip the transmission oil cooler pipe to the fan shroud.
  4. Lower the vehicle.

    5. Object Number: 1687243 Size: SH
  5. Install the transmission oil cooler pipe to the transmission. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection.
  6. Clip the transmission oil cooler pipe to the engine.
  7. Inspect the transmission fluid level.
