Removal Procedure

    Important: Remove the air inlet grille panel and the air inlet water deflector in order to remove debris from the HVAC module air inlet screen. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement in Body Front End. Install a new air inlet water deflector.

  1. Remove the HVAC module assembly. Refer to HVAC Module Assembly Replacement .
  2. Remove the recirculation actuator screws.

    3. Object Number: 1203574 Size: SH
  3. Remove the recirculation actuator.
  4. Remove the air inlet assembly screws.

    5. Object Number: 1203548 Size: SH
  5. Remove the air inlet assembly.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1203548 Size: SH
  1. Install the air inlet assembly.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the air inlet assembly screws.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 1.5 N·m (13 lb in).

  3. Install the recirculation actuator.

    4. Object Number: 1203574 Size: SH
  4. Install the recirculation actuator screws.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 1.5 N·m (13 lb in).

  5. Install the HVAC module assembly. Refer to HVAC Module Assembly Replacement .
