Rear Seat Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement for Chevrolet Malibu 2007

1. Remove the seat back cover and pad. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement .
2. If you are replacing the 60 percent side, perform the following steps:

2.1.	Remove the center seat belt retractor. Refer to Rear Seat Center Belt Buckle Replacement .

2.2.	Remove the seat back hinge trim. Refer to Rear Seat Back Hinge Trim Replacement - Left Side .




3. Release the J-straps and remove the rear cushion closeout.



4. Remove the J-straps on the cushion cover. Remove the cushion cover and pad from the seat frame.



5. Unfasten the hog rings to remove the cushion cover from the pad.

1. Fasten the hog rings to Install the cushion cover to the pad.



2. Install the cushion cover and pad to the seat frame. Attach the J-straps on the cushion cover.



3. Install the rear cushion closeout to the seat frame.
4. If you are installing the 60 percent side, perform the following steps:

4.1.	Install the seat back hinge trim. Refer to Rear Seat Back Hinge Trim Replacement - Left Side .

4.2.	Install the center seat belt retractor. Refer to Rear Seat Center Belt Buckle Replacement .

5. Install the seat back cover and pad. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement .
